FIRST OFF HOW ARE YOU GUYS AND WHATS IN THE WORKS FOR YOU AT THE MOMENT?
We're really excited! We're recording and selecting songs for our new album
AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, I HEAR FROM A LOT OF NEW TALENT. BUT WHEN I HEARD YOUR SONG ONE MORE TIME, I KNEW WE HAD TO TALK?
We appreciate the interest and "One More Time" is a pretty good example of where we're at musically now.
YOU'VE ALSO DONE A COVER OF ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS, HELLS BELLS. NOT TOO BAD, SOME OF IT IS REAL GOOD. AT L3AST YOU CHANGED IT UP A LITTLE?
Glad you've liked it. The citar in the beginning and tuning down made all the difference.
I THINK YOU GUYS MANAGE TO SOUND ROCKING BUT NOT DATED, AND NOTHING LIKE THAT JET ETC. CRAP?
Some people call what we do "real rock n roll" and that's what runs in our veins.
IF THERE WERE MORE BANDS LIKE YOU ON THE RISE I MIGHT BE OUT OF A JOB (SAVING ROCK)?

YOU GUYS STARTED FROM THE BEST PLACE FOR ROCK LEGENDS ANYWAY. SUNSET BOYS RIGHT?
We've all lived in Los Angeles for a while now, but we're all from different places originally.
I am from Rio, Brazil
Bryan comes from San Francisco, Ca
Derek is from Nashville, TN
Rich from Buffalo, NY
SO HOW DID YOU GUYS END UP TOGETHER, AND WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?
I knew Bryan from previous bands in the past. Both of us had major label deals in different bands. Derek has been my friend for a long time and Rich was at the right place at the right time. This happened in 2004.
HOW HAVE THINGS BEEN PROGRESSING? HOWS THE LIVE SHOW GOING DOWN?
Great reaction, not only from rockers, but even from other types of fans.
The live show defines what this band is all about! The energy is undeniable.
It's hard to keep up with it in the recordings. |
SO WHAT'S THE PLAN FOR THE FUTURE? WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET AN ALBUM OUT FROM YOU 1RKO? ARE YOU SHOPPING AROUND NOW?
We're talking to a few labels and we're opened to hear what anybody serious has to offer.

Truly great. I know that there are people everywhere in this country and around the world who are starving for true rock n roll.

Yes, because rock today is boring. It doesn't make you feel like an explosion of energy and it doesn't supply you with much strength.
WHO ARE YOUR MAIN INFLUENCES? WHO DO LOVE TO LISTEN TO?
Kiss, Zeppelin, AC/DC, Def Leppard all that good stuff.
