From Zakk to Lita, and back again
JD from Black Label Society talks about his past, and touring with the crazy beserker viking Zakk Wylde.

After graduating from Berkley J.D headed out into the big world of rock n roll ans was lucky enough to score a gig with Lita Ford. He later joined up with Zakk’s tour de force Pride & Glory. Now more than ten years later, he’s back in fine form playing with Zakk again in the Black Label Society. BLS was in town for their up and coming Shot To Hell album and we managed to catch up with JD for a few brief words.

Ha ha, he's my brother, so it's awesome
YOU ACTUALLY PLAYED WITH HIM BACK IN THE PRIDE & GLORY DAYS. THAT WAS LIKE ONE OF THE MOST UNDERATED BANDS EVER.
That was alot of fun. We jammed for hours every night!
YOU MUST HAVE KNOWN HIM FOR A WHILE. IS IT TRUE HE GOT YOU THE GIG WITH LITA FORD
He got me the audition cause Sharon (Osbourne) was managing Lita at the time. |

I REALY LIKE LITA, WHAT WAS IT LIKE PLAYING WITH HER FOR A WHILE.
It was my first huge tour so it was definitly a lesson!!
IT'S A PITY SHE DOESN'T REALLY GET THE RECOGNITION THESE DAYS.
Yeah,shes a part of history.
